Garnishment and Judgments
Garnishments are attachments against your wages or property. They are signed by a Judge but not necessarily going through a trial. Yes it is also called a Lien. Generally it means you owe someone else money. Now it used to be the Federal Goverment and States didnt garnish wages but they would take property. Credit Card companies garnish personal property. If you have a UCC1 Private Property Lien (FirstLien) the credit card companies cannot lien your personal property. They have to pay off the fist lien.
